On November-11-2022, Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company (CholimexFood) held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a factory in Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park (Ben Luc, Long An) to invest in expanding production scale.
The factory was built on a total land area of 39,230 m2, with a total investment of 850 billion VND. Including a frozen food processing plant with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year along with auxiliary works such as a wastewater treatment area, transformer station, garage, warehouse system…
Cholimex Food has had an average growth rate of more than 15% per year over the past time. Now, in order to achieve the goal of striving to become the leading manufacturer, processor and distributor of food in Vietnam in the seasonings – sauces and frozen food industries, Cholimex deploys a product chain that meets food hygiene and safety standards, builds a closed supply chain, from raw materials to processing to improve production capacity, processing and sustainable development.
The CholimexFood factory in Ben Luc will fully meet the domestic and international high quality standards for food safety: ISO 9001:2015; ISO 22000: 2018; British Retail Consortium Global Standard for the Food Industry (BRCGS V.8); HACCP as well as ensuring HALAL standards for the Islamic market; KOSHER for the Jewish market. The project also ensures the requirements of sustainable and environmentally friendly production.
Currently, CholimexFood has been present in more than 30 countries and territories, entering famous supermarket chains in Europe and North America. Domestically, CholimexFood currently holds a high market share in the seasonings and sauces market. Mr. Diep Nam Hai, General Director of Cholimex Food said that by the end of 2022, CholimexFood’s revenue will exceed VND 3,000 billion with a pre-tax profit of nearly 300 billion VND.
