The opening ceremony of Vietnam Week is being held at Système U and Carrefour supermarkets in France, taking place during the Mid-Autumn Festival from September 25 to October 1.

Cholimex Food took part in the event by directly displaying and marketing its famous Vietnamese spices to French consumers, and received a positive response. The event is crucial in terms of marketing Vietnamese goods in France, as well as contributing to direct exports of Vietnamese products to France and other countries where the company has distribution systems.

Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Dinh Toan Thang, Ambassador of Vietnam to France, Senator Vincent Eblee from the Seine-et-Marne province, mayors of Lognes and Noisiel, and numerous high-level executives from Système U, Carrefour, and T&T Food (Cholimex Food’s partner in France) attended this event. Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai thanked the Système U and Carrefour systems for hosting the event to promote Vietnamese products in the French market.

During the meeting, representatives from the Système U group also shared their thoughts on Vietnamese cuisine, saying that Vietnamese cuisine is gaining increasing popularity in France. The presence of Vietnamese products on the shelves of Système U supermarkets has enriched their product offerings, particularly benefiting customers in suburban and outlying areas of major cities, providing them with more opportunities to experience Vietnamese cuisine up close.
